Zoom Drain Indianapolis is now open! Owner/operators Chris and Rachel Duggan are in the driver’s seat of this first Zoom Drain store in Indiana.
Business acumen runs through the veins of Chris and Rachel as Chris is the Vice President of Residential Sales for a fiber optic Internet company, and Rachel is a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for a bank. The Duggans have more than 40 years of customer service experience, 30 years of sales expertise, and 12 years of management acumen combined.
When they moved from Atlanta, Georgia, to the Indianapolis, Indiana, area in June 2019 with their two children, Ellie and Will, Rachel realized the need for a local professional networking group. In June 2022, Rachel created the Westfield Rocks Referrals Group, which is unlike any other networking group she’s worked with before. There is one seat per profession, and the group picks a different local charity each month to partner with. Since forming in June of 2022, the group has grown to 20 members and has passed shared $750,000 in referrals to each other. The group also holds community events like coat, blood, and canned food drives. Giving back to the community is something Rachel is passionate about. As the president and founder of the Westfield Rocks Referrals Group, she has found a way to stay active in helping local charity organizations within the community. This group has given Rachel quite a lot of local notoriety — their family was featured in Westfield Living magazine in January 2023. In August 2022, a franchise recruiter reached out to Rachel, and the Duggans took it as a sign to start investigating opening a business in the greater Indianapolis area and began looking for a business that would both help strengthen the local economy and prepare them for retirement.
The Duggans are not native Hoosiers, but they are absolutely in love with the Indy area. The family-oriented community is ideally suited for the Duggans and their two children, Ellie and Will. They have come to find a local family in the welcoming and accepting people of Indianapolis. The area also has a lot of fun activities, from sporting events to a fantastic Children's Museum, a zoo, restaurants, and shopping.
When not servicing the communities’ sewer and drain needs, the Duggans volunteer with their networking group, Westfield Rocks Referrals. They also can be found chauffeuring kids to and from sports practices and sporting events. Their daughter participates in the Westfield Aquatics swim team and choir, and their son plays football with the WYSI and travel hockey with the Jr Fuel. Chris also plays men's league hockey a few nights each week.
