Zoom Drain Announces Acquisition of The Pipeshark
Posted By: Zoom Drain FranchiseFor Immediate Release
Zoom Drain, a leading operator and franchisor of drain and sewer services, announced today the acquisition of The Pipeshark, the trenchless pipe replacement specialists. This transaction will support Zoom Drain's efforts to strengthen its position as the leading provider of drain and sewer services in Philadelphia through both continued market share growth and acquisitions. Additional details of the transaction were not made public.
The Pipeshark, covering the metro west area of Philadelphia, is owned by brothers John and Dave Galligan.
“We’re extremely excited to have The Pipeshark team join Zoom Drain,” noted Zoom Drain CEO Jim Criniti. “Both our companies introduced trenchless technology to the Philadelphia Metro area over 20 years ago. The Pipeshark team has years of specific experience working on large, complex trenchless projects. John and Dave join us as skilled and accomplished industry professionals, intent on helping us grow and develop our team.”
John Galligan said: “We’ve known Jim for about 20 years; we understand his business philosophy. So, when it came time to move the company in the next direction, partnering with Zoom Drain was the first thing we thought of.”
“Coming to ZOOM was a chance to channel the energy we still have for the industry, and to share our knowledge and experience,” John Galligan said. “It’s like you're drafted as a coach on a team that's destined for the Super Bowl. It truly is exciting to have this opportunity.”
Across the Zoom Drain franchise network, franchisees are growing their companies through strategic acquisition, referral partnerships and joint ventures. Jim Criniti explained: “We guide franchisees through the maze of marketing, finding and training and keeping great people, and every aspect of operating a successful drain and sewer company. We have these systems dialed in.
“Along the way, we’ve become quite adept at acquiring companies of all sizes. Our unique approach allows us to find owners who are ready for a change, and customize a strategic partnership, or robust referral relationship. Our Zoom Drain Franchise Marketing Manual includes a simple, step by step process for acquiring companies, focusing on what works best for owners, team members and customers.”
